Went in to buy plants and seeds, normally I work during the gardens business hours. 25 minutes later still waiting only 1 person working, hope they're a volunteer and not paid help. 20 minutes to signed up 1 person and 2 waiting. They need more help, I 😭 left without cannas, sweet potato plants and special seed packets. I just didn't have an hour to buy some seeds and a couple of plants.

The first woman at the desk when I walked into the door was more interested in her phone than doing her job. Not the community support based experience I am accustomed to. KCCG is still a wonderful group of people helping the KCMO area be more self sufficient when it comes to healthy foods

It's always nice to go here and get starter plants. I enjoy seeing the raised beds of vegetables planted and people attending to their gardens. Workers are very helpful and attentive.

I have been there the past several years, and people were always friendly and helpful. They had the whole layout changed and couldn't be bothered to answer questions or offer information outside of their "area." Very limited, sparse plants available and people were not available to answer questions by the plants. The only reason they even get one star is because the guys in the parking lot were friendly.

Awesome experience! Tasted Jujube fruit it was awesome. Made date sugar years ago from this fruit; didn't know I could grow them myself.
